Ten Years to Save the World is supported by the British Council’s Creative Commissions programme which are a series of creative commissions exploring climate change through art, science and digital technology. The aspiration for these seventeen commissions is to stimulate global conversations about climate change and to inspire transformational change.
The British Council is the main Funder partner for the Ten Years to Save the World project with The Lakes International Comic Art Festival, Komiket and Creative Concern. Dr Chris Jones at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research is our project advisor.
The project is also in partnership with Friends of the Earth.
Building connections, understanding and trust between people in the UK and other countries through arts and culture, education and the English language.
The Lakes International Comic Art Festival is a weekend festival in Kendal celebrating comic art in all its forms, taking place each year in October.
KOMIKET positioned itself as an affordable art market, an accessible entry point to first time comics creators, artists and readers.
Creative Concern believes that creative, compelling and compassionate communications can make the world a better place.
